The CR series of electric upright basses by NS Design features a lean solid body, full scale fingerboard and an adjustable neck and bridge to suit all players preferences. It covers an array of sounds with 2 pickup systems with multiple controls to sculpt the perfect sound to meet a variety of players needs. Packs up nicely in a portable bag for easy transport and sold with the optional tripod stand.
In overall good cosmetic shape but has been played regularly and has some surface cosmetic wear (scratches and dings, see pictures).
Recently inspected in our repair shop and is playing well with low-medium action.

BRIDGE PICKUP: The Polar directional piezo pickup system responds selectively to either vertical vibration (for the sustained plucked sound, like an electric bass guitar), or lateral vibration (for dynamic bowing, and a percussive plucked sound).
MAGNETIC PICKUP: Low impedance EMG magnetic pickup system, with individually adjustable coils, neodymium magnets and low noise, hum-canceling preamp. Produces smooth pizzicato tone not unlike an electric bass guitar. (Magnetic pickups are not recommended for bowing.)
ELECTRONICS: 18-volt active circuit by EMG. Mono output.
