This is a Swedish made Hagstrom II-B 4 string bass guitar that was produced in the mid to late 1960’s (actual dating is difficult on vintage Hagstrom instruments) Bass in fairly good shape , with the expected wear and tear on the paint and pickguard. A thumb rest was added above the switch situated near the neck pickup. The switch by the thumb rest is non functional. A repair was previously done on the headstock where a hole had been made. All other parts (pickups, tuners, knobs etc) are original.The short 30.5” scale length make it a breeze to play & the pickups sound fantastic, with a very distinct sound that is unlike modern J or P style basses making it a great addition tiion to anyones arsenal of instruments. Does not come with a case or gig bag.
