Fender Esquire 1959 REFIN
One owner 1959 Fender Esquire refinished in "barnyard plank brown".
Other than the obvious refin, this is a wonderful guitar. Originally blonde (lots of evidence and paint chips in the neck pocket and cavities), this instrument has been treated very well with almost nothing else touched in it's 69 years of existence. Original tuners, pick-up, all electronics, pickguard, strap pins and with an EXCELLENT original case. Purchased new by a working Edmonton musician from Clarence Ploof Music (a well known local business) in 1959, and remained in his possession to this day. Surprisingly the frets are near full height, and the action is perfect! The neck is beautiful...less boat shaped than a few years previous. Please see the accompanying Fender Deluxe (1958) that we are also selling.
