Gibson A-Jr. Mandolin (1924)
Originally designed as a student instrument in the 20's the A Jr. features an A style body, spruce top with maple back and sides and a rosewood fingerboard. It has aged fantastically over the last 95 years and sounds amazing. It is loud, crisp, well balanced and supports a few repairs over the years making it an excellent players grade vintage mandolin. There are a couple repaired cracks on the back that were fixed 15+ years ago and are structurally sound. The tuners (Golden Age Tuners), tailpiece and bridge have all been replaced and a K&K sound passive pickup was also installed. Sold without a case.
