The Blue Junior was originally introduced in 1995, with this specific amp being made in October of 1996. From 1995 to 2001 the Blues Junior was manufactured in the USA and then moved to Mexico from 2001 onward. Based on the PCB of this amp, this is a revision B or C.
Cosmetically, the amp is definitely beat up. The outer toled has scratches and dings, the control panel shows wear from travel and use and the grill cloth has some small visible marks on it. The original speaker had a small tear in it which has been professionally repaired and sounds great. The original Groove Tubes were swapped out at some point for some Tung Sol 12AX7 preamp tubes and some Electro Harmonix EL84 power tubes. Our in house amp tech has gone through the amp and made sure everything is in working condition.
Overall this amp sounds fantastic and definitely has a different sound from the newer Mexican made versions of this amp. There is no footswitch included.
