Gibson EB0 Electric Bass w/Case (1961)

Vintage players grade Gibson EBO bass from 1961. 

This bass has a story to tell. From what we can see it has been refinished, the body was routed for a bridge pickup that was taken out at some point, an aftermarket pickguard was installed as well as a piece of pickguard to cover the bridge pickup routing. 

This was the first year the EBO bass was made and it features a 30.5" scale length, 1.75" nut width, original Gibson pickup, mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and an aftermarket Hipshot 2 point Supertone Bridge. . 

Plays well with low action and light round wound strings. 

Sold with a non original vintage hardshell case, original bridge with posts, bridge cover and a rosewood block to cover/fill the routing hole.
