This uber cool guitar was first introduced in 1956 as a thinner bodied version of the ES-125. The specs between the two models were almost identical with a slimmer neck that joins the body at the 14th fret, 1 piece mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod, adjustable rosewood bridge, individual volume and tone controls and a single P-90 with adjustable pole pieces. The biggest difference is where the T in 125T comes from, which is the thinner body. This guitar has a 1 3/4" body depth whereas the ES-125 has a 3 1/4" body depth. This makes this particular model incredibly easy to handle. The ES-125T was produced from 1956 to 1969.

This guitar has had a professionally repaired headstock break a long time ago that is holding great and shows no sign of having any sort of issues. The tuners have also been replaced for a modern set of Kluson Deluxe that are very similiar to the originals. The original tuners are included, one of them is broken off at the post. The pickup is original and while we are unable to date the pots they seem to be vintage if not the original ones as well. A vintage Yamaha hard shell case is included with this intrument. Currently strung with 10-46 gauge strings and playing great.
