This guitar is in great condition for a 61 year old guitar, with minor cosmetic wear and some expected lacquer checking. All electronics and hardware are original as well as original frets. The frets themselves have some were but still have plenty of life left. We believe the Bigsby to have been installed at the factory due to the lack of wear or markings where a previously installed trapeze would have been. The screw holes for a trapeze usually don't line up perfectly for a Bigsby either and the mounting holes on the guitar were clearly drilled specifically for the vibrato installation. The pickups are Patent Number, which is expected on a guitar from the mid 60's. While Patent Number pickups are less sought after, they sound nearly identical to early 60's P.A.F. models in our experience. We are unsure whether the case is original to the guitar but it does look to be a Faultless case from the era as listed in the mid 60's catalogs.
