This guitar is in very good condition for its age with no cracks or headstock break as well as a very good neck angle and plenty of fret height left. Our techs have setup the guitar and it is currently strung with D'Addario EJ16 strings.

This instrument was purchsed brand new sometime in 1968 and was kept by the sole owner of this guitar. While the inside is stamped with J-45ADJ, it was purchased with the standard bridge seen in the pictures. Most likely this guitar was received by the Canadian distributor at the time, Turner Musical Instruments, and it had a bridge issue that warranted replacing the original adjustable one. The bridge replacement was done very well and the original bridge plate is still in place as seen in the pictures. Other than than the bridge, it seems like the saddle has been replaced at some point in time. Otherwise this guitar is 100% original with the original Turner case & a vintage strap included.

This is the writeup on this model from a 1967 Gibson catalog
