Gibson J45-ADJ (1964)
1964 Gibson J-45-ADJ.
Cosmetic Condition: Great vintage vibe. Has some cosmetic wear that you would expect from years of use (chips, dings, scratches etc).
Repairs/Modifications:
A few repaired cracks on the top, a good headstock repair that is holding strong and a small hole where a previous jack had been.
End pin has been replaced with a jack that is not wired up to anything.
The bridge has been built up with Brazilian rosewood. Saddle slot filled and re-routed (not great) but guitar intonates well.
The nut and saddle are non original and have been modified (see pictures)
Neck: Neck is in good shape and very comfortable, frets have some wear (1-3) and could use a fret dress down the road. Features a 1 11/16" nut width.
Playability and Sound: Plays and sounds great with low action and light gauge strings.
Overall a good players grade vintage instrument that has the bones of a great instrument.
Sold with a vintage case.
