This guitar is in good condition with some dings and noticeable cosmetic wear. The original P-100 pickups were removed a long time ago and replaced with a Seymour Duncan in the bridge and a Gibson Soapbar in the neck. While this instrument has some cosmetic wear and finish checking, the headstock has never been broken and the frets are in good condition with lots of life left. All other parts are original and in good condition. A full setup has been done by our techs and the guitar is strung with D'Addario EXL110 strings. This guitar does not include a case or gig bag.

Another component of the Special's distinctive tone is a matched set of Gibson's new P-100 stacked humbucking pickups. A modern successor to Gibson's legendary P-90, the P100 has that fat, nasty single-coil tone without the hum associated with the originals.
