Gibson Midtown Standard Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar w/Case - Vintage Sunburst (2015)

This guitar is in very good condition, with no damage and minimal play wear. All the electronics are working as they should. The neck volume pot has been replaced as the original stopped working. This guitar has had no major repairs and no headstock break, a full setup was done by our in house techs. Comes with the original hard shell case.

This model original shipped with the G-Force automatic tuners, these have bee replaced with Kluson tuners.

Unique body construction and size

The most unique aspect of the Gibson Midtown Standard is the innovative body. It is slightly larger than your everyday solidbody electric guitar, yet smaller than a typical semi-hollowbody. The body is made from solid mahogany and is strategically weight relieved and chambered for optimal sound. The Gibson Midtown Standard also features a solid maple top with F-holes to give it a definitive semi-hollow look and feel.

G-Force tuner lets you tune in a flash

If you loved Gibson's Min-ETune tuning system, you'll love their newly developed G-Force even more. Thanks to G-Force, not only can you tune your Midtown Standard with a single strum, you can also make use of alternate tunings without having to retune or switch guitars. You can even calibrate your guitar to an external source. Say you have a vintage piano that's not quite tuned to A440. Now, thanks to G-Force, the piano and your guitar can play together beautifully with no tuning hassles.
