Manufactured from the late 1950's to mid 1960's the H-173 was a student level classical guitar model was was one step down from the H-174 model. The H-173 featured a Spruce top, Hardwood back, sides & neck (the wood changed a few times and it differs year to year from our research, others like this seemed to have Birch for back & sides but we are unable to confirm) & an ebonized Maple fretboard.
This particular guitar is in fairly good condition considering its age. All the wear seen in the pictures is purely cosmetic and we've gone through it throughly and made sure everything is structurally sound. A full setup was done to it and it was strung with D'Addario nylon strings. No case or gig bag is included.
