This guitar is in very good condition for its age with some minor cosmetic wear and a repaired side crack. There is some lacquer checking all over the body and neck which is expected on a guitar from this era and then repaired side crack was inspected and is holding well with no issues. There is also some cracking on the pickguard where it screws in by fretboard, this looks to have been glued at some point. The bridge has been replaced with a high quality Ebony one, the original Rosewood bridge is included in the case. All parts and electronics are working well and are original, a full setup has been done and the guitar has been strung with D'Addario strings. A molded hardshell case is included.
This is the writeup on this model from the 1959 Harmony catalog
"Harmony's functional design to help your playing... thin model body, 2 3/4" deep makes playing more comfortable... short scale 24 1/4" for easier rhythm or take off, less fatigue. Responsive "Tone Emphasizer" pickup, individual balancing adjustment under each string, volume and tone controls. Laminated curly maple top and back, heavy edge bindings, inlays. Modern ornamental compensating tailpiece. A different finish... richly polished Sherry Blonde on curly maple grain, sparkles and reflects in the footlights or "spots" "
