This snare was purchased in the early 90's and has had only one owner. It is in fantastic condition with no noticeable pitting or damage to the brass or lugs and only a few small scratches on the brass shell. These snares have a wide tuning range with this one currently tuned nice and high but it can definitely do lower and thuddier tunings as well. The strainer and throw off are both working well and are still super smooth. Being a brass shell, this is not a light weight snare and it weighs around 13 pounds. We are including a 14" hard shell case with this drum.
