This unit is in very good working condition with minor cosmetic wear. It has been fully tested and is working well. This looks to be a REV10 model which points to it being a late 1980's model. The power supply has been modified from the original TRS power to a more modern 12v one. Part of the battery compartment has been used up for this mod which means it can no longer operate on battery power.  A power supply is included in the original box as well as the removed parts from the battery compartment, the original manual and a work order from a local electronics repair person showing the work done.

This is the writeup on this unit from a late 1980's SR&D catalog

"It's hard to play inspired guitar without an inspiring guitar sound. For over 80,000 guitarists, the ROCKMAN sound has been that inspiration. Whatever your style or level of expertise, there's a ROCKMAN™ made for you.
All ROCKMAN™ and SOLOIST models can drive two sets of headphones and can be used as a direct preamp to play through a live sound system, studio mixing console, home stereo, tape deck, and any power or musical instrument amplifier. An auxiliary input also enables you to play along with records, tapes, drum machines or another ROCKMAN™ or SOLOIST.

ROCKMAN X100
The X100's four equalization settings will accommodate any playing style. For power sound with high energy overdrive and sustain, switch to DISTORTION. Change to EDGE and get subtle distortion great for rhythm plaving. The GAIN CONTROL adjusts clean sustain and overall distortion. The X100's CLEAN settings give separate EQ choices for crystal clear sound with high power sustain. Also featured is a solid state REVERB that delivers true STEREO ECHO, and that famous Scholz Stereo Chorus sound. All four EQ settings are so quiet that many artists use the X100 on master recordings.
