Slingerland Radio King Student Model 14"x5.5" 8-Lug Snare Drum - Sparkling Gold (Mid to Late 1950's)

This snare is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear and some repaired shell separation. The wrap itself is in very good condition with some minor scuffing and aging. There was some minor shell separation that was repaired in store and is holding well, the bearing edges themselves are in good condition. The shell is Mahogany/Poplar/Mahogany, the shell itself is slightly out of round which is common on older Slingerland snares but the heads still seat well and tunes well. The #967A 3 point strainer is working well with no issues, an additional hole was drilled at one point around the strainer mount but it has since been filled professionally.
