This bass is in good condition with some cosmetic wear and some dings. All parts seem to be original according to our research and are working well. Based on catalog info and pictures of this model it looks like there was cover on the bridge originally, this bass does not have the cover included. A full setup was done by our techs, the frets have a good amount of life left in them and the truss rod is functioning as it should. This bass does not come with a case or gig bag.
While this bass is a 30" scale bass, the size of the neck makes it feel like a full scale bass. While this bass does have a working truss rod, Teisco also reinforced the neck with steel and made it really chunky to help with stability. It is still a comfortable instrument but could be a challenge for a player with smaller hands.
The pickups have a great vintage tone to them and are pretty dark sounding meaning this bass is going to be better suited for less busy playing to keep it from being too muddy.
Due to the offset body and the massive headstock it has difficult to find a case or gig bag that can accomdate this instrument, we currently don't have anything on hand that would work for it.
It is currently setup for & strung with regular gauge round wound strings.
